The History
På svenska
Beat Butchers is a swedish record label formed 1984. Starting off as Studio Otukt Records in the spirit of Punk's do-it-yourself, taking the name from a legendary "recording studio".
The first release was the vinyl single "Genom Barriären" with Rolands Gosskör. 29 vinyl records were released before the label headed into the CD format.
In 1991 the label changed name to Beat Butchers because the old name was often misunderstood in a negative way.
